Launch a food-delivery super-app in your city

The repeatable path to running 6amMart-class delivery in a mid-size city: vendor onboarding, dispatch math, and demand-side growth.

1. Choose the core you'll grow from

Every city delicery brand starts as one vertical (food), then expands into grocery, pharmacy, parcel and taxi as demand proves out. That's exactly why 6amMart and DriveMond ship as multi-service platforms instead of single-store apps.

Pick a codebase whose shared core (riders, orders, payouts, push) is clean, because everything you add later sits on top of it.

  • 6amMart — multivendor food, grocery, parcel, pharmacy in one Laravel 12 + Flutter core
  • DriveMond — ride + parcel with fare bidding, surge pricing, live fleet map
  • LocalFleet — customer, rider and seller apps on a modern Next.js + Laravel 12 stack
  • eMart — Firebase-native multi-service delivery, fastest to prototype

2. Recruit your supply side first

Marketplaces die when the supply side is empty. Before you buy a single ad, onboard 20–40 vendors or drivers and give them live orders on day one. Riders need a dispatch loop that pays them weekly; vendors need an owner-visible order queue.

3. Know the unit economics

Delivery is a volume game. Two levers decide everything: fee per order (commissions + delivery fee) and order frequency per rider. Model both before launch: if a rider can complete 8 orders a shift at a $1.2 average fee, that's the ceiling for your city.

  • Commission: 15–25% on food, higher on parcel
  • If you charge vendors setup fees, you fund a zero-revenue launch month
  • Free delivery days grow frequency, they don't build loyalty alone

4. Launch narrow, then expand

Run one district or one campus with a small rider fleet, get the quality loop tight (late-order %, refund rate), then add grocery and pharmacy SKUs. Only add a taxi vertical when ride demand is proven — it's the heaviest integration.

5. White-label playbook

Rebrand the apps with your store colors, set your commission defaults, and present the admin portal as your control tower. Buyers can run the whole thing on one VPS for under 50 users — no need for a cloud bill yet.
